The NEWPORT PAGNELL HORTICULTURAL SHOW celebrates its 204th year on Saturday 7th September 2013.
Yes, we have been growing and showing since 1809.
Yet even now the show continues to grow, year after year. We don’t charge an entry fee to enter the various classes. Instead we ask for donations from entrants on the day of the show. Now is the time to start growing if you are entering the sections for flowers, pot plants, fruit or vegetables. You don’t have to be an expert gardener – just someone who enjoys what you grow in your garden.
Alternatively, we’d love to show your preserves, cakes and handicraft or, if you have an eye for art, you can enter our photography competitions. There is a special section for allotment holders and a children’s section. So there’s no excuse for children to be bored over the summer holidays – the children’s sections include a miniature seed tray garden, a photo of a pet, an animal made from a vegetable or small cakes to be baked. Entry forms can be obtained from the Offices of the Newport Pagnell Town Council at 80 High Street, Newport Pagnell or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We had the biggest number of exhibitors last year ever, and we hope even more of you with join us in September 2013. Even if you aren’t submitting an entry, come and join us as a spectator. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome.
